I wanted to send my sister’s wedding reception invite to 700 people over WhatsApp.
Obviously forwarding the message five people at a time was not an option
Then someone gave me the idea to create 3 broadcast lists on WhatsApp.
Brilliant idea!
Only, not so brilliant! because…
Because this is what the message looked like I sent it to the first broadcast list

As if I am shouting loud and clear,
“even though I’m inviting you I don’t care enough about you to even address you with your name”
That wasn’t going to work and managing 200 pissed-off Indian relatives was not going to be an item on my to-do list.
We already had a tool to message multiple contacts on WhatsApp in one go
I got together with the tech team and ask them if they can quickly give me a way to personalize the message.
After some bribing and four unplanned additions to the invite list, they agreed
And 13 hours later this was the message that I sent to the remaining 460 people…

For you it could be a birthday party or baby shower invite, updates to the candidates who had applied for a job, order delivery status update to customers, or something else altogether…
But WhatsApp is a personal messaging platform.
This means if you are messaging people, it cannot be a robotic “I just don’t care about you enough” sort of update.
It has to be personalized.
And with the premium version of WASender, you can send personalized messages to all your contacts with just a few clicks in than less than a minute.
Here is a one minute video showing the exact step-by-step process
Why is it a pro feature?
Because my name is not Mother Teresa!
And because… Even the developers who work for us need to eat and pay rent and take their girlfriends out to dinner!
If you don’t wanna pay that’s OK
If sending the robotic impersonalized spammy version of the message is good enough for you then you can do that with the free version.
And you can use it forever without paying a single penny.
But the real question is –
Do you really think that sending impersonalized spammy messages is good enough?
Does it not hurt your brand perception and image?
If you think it does, just pay the nominal price and start sending personalized messages with the pro version of WASender!
